WTAS Social Gathering Night

This event marked the largest ever gathering of WTAS members since the present committee’s formation since July 2008. During the gathering, many members met fellow members face to face for the first time or old faces having a catching up session. It was indeed a rare occasion for members from all over the country to get together and share their insights on the latest news and information on their pride and joy i.e. their latest products, projects etc.

The main highlight of the event was the Social Gathering Night, which was held at Penny Black. Amongst the highlights of the night was a speech by WTAS President, Mr Alfred Lim; introduction of the committee members; introduction of WTAS website; balloting of main sponsored listings (Cat A); featured listing sponsorship (Cat B); and last but not least, networking between fellow members and guests who mingled and exchanged pointers & contacts.

With the presence of, Mr Wong Chee Seng from BCA, 5 successful members were balloted out of the 7 interested members who highlighted their interests in the main sponsored listing (Cat A) prior to the event. The 5 lucky sponsors are:-

While having fun thru out the night, other fellow members also shown no lack of support for featured listing (Cat B) sponsorship, thru the emcee and fellow committee members strong appealing during the night, a total number of 16 sponsors voiced their interests. They are:-

With kindness and generous support of food and drinks sponsors such as Penny Black, Hitchins, Solely, Goldfield, BCS, Penetron, Bestcoat, LTC Coatings, Maxbond & ParexDavco, every member who attended the gathering were treated to free flow of beer & beverages, snacks and a WTAS lanyard as souvenirs for their participation in this momentous event.
