WTAS 2nd AGM
WTAS successfully held the 2nd Annual Generally Meeting on 26 June 2009 at Jurong Country Club. The total turnout was overwhelming and a good sign of support from most of the members. Amongst the highlights
of the night was a speech by the President, Mr Alfred Lim. Followed by past annual reports by the various Chair-men (membership, marketing, technical & training), Secretary and Treasurer.
With the finishing term of the Treasurer & Assistant Treasurer, Mr Kelvin Wong & Mr Dick Low, WTAS and its board of committee cordially thank them for their assistance and commitment shown for the past year. On the other hand, we will like to congratulate both Ms Lee Su Min & Mr Derrick Lee, to come on board as the new Treasurer & Assistant Treasurer.
WTAS will also like to thank both internal auditors, Mr Micky Pang and Mr Derrick Neo, for completion of their current term. Newly appointed internal auditors to carry the torch are Ms May Choo & Mr Sean.
Upon completion of the 2nd AGM, all members gathered around for a hearty dinner and a chilling out session to catch up with one another. Laughter and sharing of pointers & information were floating in the air, everyone truly is having a great time.
In recognition of its dedicated board of committees and sub-committee members, the President, sincerely express his thanks to all, and stressed during his speech that the entire team sticks together, especially during the early stage of WTAS formation and difficult times, thus ensuring WTAS growth and stability. WTAS is definitely set for another coming year of growth and success with the strong and robust support from all members.
