2nd Social Nite
It has been more than half year since our first social gathering night. The second social gathering night was officially held on 18 September 2009 at Club @ 52 with the presences of the board of committee members and most members.
Members started pouring in from 6pm, chats and discussion started filling up the cool evening’s ambience. Together with icy cool beer, everyone simply put down their hard day’s of stressful workload to the rear of the boot.
Upon arrival of all members further into the evening, the emcee, Membership Chairman, Mr Ang Sim Tat, sprinted off the night with the opening speech. After which is shortly followed by the speech from WTAS President, Mr Alfred Lim. Main highlight of the short presentation was the official launching of “WTAS Technical Draft 1”, full compliments and appreciations to the hard work by the Technical Chairman, Mr Chua Boon Hwee and his team of Technical Committee Members & Consultants.
The other highlight of the night would definitely be the various kings and queens who showcased their powerful vocals and musical talents in their “Live Unplugged Singing” performance throughout the night, which left the crowd clapping, cheering and encored for more.
All the members were extremely supportive and sporting in participating throughout the night. Overall the event was another major success, all thanks to the board of committee as well as every single member who has been giving their relentless support all these while.
As a final word, WTAS would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all members who attended the event and all others who made this possible.
